Byana was founded in 2025 by Alexandra Nord with the vision of creating the ultimate destination for soccer girls.
Alexandra, who herself played football in Sweden, the USA and England, lacked a brand throughout her career that she could identify with both on and off the football field.
When she finally chose to put her soccer shoes on the shelf, she decided to follow her new dream of creating a brand that soccer girls can identify with both on and off the soccer field!
The Future of Women's Football Starts With US
The name byana is inspired by the Zulu language, where the word banyana means “girls.” But for us, it’s more than just a word - it’s part of our identity and vision for the future.
We believe that the biggest change in women's football comes when we women support each other.
