A Word From Our Founder

The Future of Women's Football Starts with Women

Growing up in early 2000s Sweden — back when we had the world's best women's football league — I watched most players juggle part-time jobs alongside their careers on the pitch.

my dream of becoming a full-time pro felt distant. Instead, football became about lifestyle, community and belonging.

and even though I spent years being part of the change on the pitch. I always knew I wanted to create something bigger. A Movement Kind of Change.

I remember watching Jess in "Bend it like Beckham" dreaming of playing with the men at Manchester United.

- Today, I meet young girls who dream of playing alongside Alessia Russo and Alexia Putellas.

It feels so special to have witnessed the evolution of women's football in real time. Although we've come far, we still have a long way to go.

When we talk about equality in football, we're not just talking about matching paychecks – we're also talking about dignity, fairness, and the chance to go all in.

But what we talk about less is how this change starts with us women.

as women We have the power to show up for each other.

from watching your local women's team to the pro leagues to supporting female-founded brands whose mission is to give back to female athletes.

Because real change doesn't just happen — we build it together.

BYANA is built to challenge the norms, rewrite the rules, and build a community that backs the game — on and off the pitch

Join the movement. Be part of the change.

Love,
